Overview

What is Bad Times AI?

Bad Times AI puts the person in your photo into our own 15-second remake of the "Bad Times" trend: a white kitchen, a phone propped up at the counter, and you arguing straight at the camera, rolling your eyes, poking at the lens and shouting back. The video is silent; add the song in TikTok and it lines up from 0:00.

The trend is people miming an argument with whoever holds the phone, to "Bad Times" by Imael Angel. One of the most copied versions is a single locked-off take in a kitchen that @bouuhyachaka posted on TikTok on September 9, 2026: on November 5 it showed 23.5 million plays. AI versions with pets and with people's own photos followed from late September.

We made our own version of the clip once, with an AI-generated performer in an AI-made kitchen, modeled on that one-take: the walk-in, the eye-roll, the palm pokes at the lens, the full-mouth shout and the wide-eyed comeback. Each template is made once with Seedance 2.0 and AI-generated performers; your video is a Kling 4.0 edit of it that puts the people in your photos in their place.

This Bad Times AI video generator takes one photo, and your video comes back silent, with no song in the file. A front-facing photo with your whole face in view works best, and the clothes you wear in it are the clothes in the video. Upload only a photo of yourself or of someone who said yes.

Sound

How to add the Bad Times sound in TikTok

  1. 1Download your MP4 and upload it in TikTok.
  2. 2Tap Add sound and search for "Bad Times Imael Angel", or open a video of the trend, tap its sound and choose Use this sound.
  3. 3Keep the part with the argument and start it at 0:00.
  4. 4Post it. Every eye-roll and shout is timed to that part of the song.

The song is "Bad Times" by Imael Angel. Your download has no music in it, so you add the sound the trend uses when you post.

FAQ

Bad Times AI FAQ

What is the Bad Times AI trend?

It is the TikTok trend of people, and then pets and AI versions, miming an argument with the camera to "Bad Times" by Imael Angel. Here you make the AI version from one photo of yourself.

Is Bad Times by Imael Angel an AI song?

Yes, by the act’s own account: Imael Angel’s Deezer bio says "an artist created with artificial intelligence" (AI Musicpreneur, October 2026). Songfacts says the songwriter behind the name writes the lyrics and uses AI tools to develop them into full songs. "Bad Times" came out on March 30, 2026.

Is this the angry dance filter?

Yes. People also call it the angry dance filter: it is the same routine to the same song. This is our own remake of it, made from your photo.

How do I make a Bad Times AI video from a photo?

Upload one clear, front-facing photo and press "Make my video". Then add "Bad Times" by Imael Angel in TikTok from 0:00.

Does the video include the song?

No, not the download: it is silent on purpose. When you post, add the song in TikTok, which also links your post to the trend.

Can I make just one video without a subscription?

Yes. One meme video is $9.99, paid once, and nothing renews. If you make more, a plan from $28.99 a month brings it under $6 a video. Either way there is no watermark.

Is this generator free?

No. A 15-second video costs 10 credits: $9.99 as a single video, $6.00 a video in the biggest pack. Plans from $28.99 a month give the lowest price a video; one-time packs never expire. If a video fails, its credits come back automatically.

Does it use the original video?

No. No frame of the original is in your video. We made our own version once, with an AI-generated performer, modeled on it; your video is that template with you in it. The original plays on this page credited to its creator.

Will I look like myself?

Yes, closely, though not exactly: the AI gets a strong likeness, not a twin. A clear front-facing photo works best.

Can I make it with my dog or cat?

No, not yet. This template takes a photo of one adult person.

How long does it take?

Usually under 10 minutes. You can close the tab: the finished video waits in My videos.

Is this affiliated with Imael Angel, the original creator or TikTok?

No. AI Viral Trend (aiviraltrend.com) is an independent tool and is not affiliated with TikTok, the creators of the original videos, or any artist, label or app named on this page.
